Senior Mitigation Project Manager – Insurance Restoration

Restoration 1 New Jersey • Full-time • Rockaway Township, New Jersey, United States • 1d ago

Description

Restoration 1 New Jersey is looking for an experienced Senior Mitigation Project Manager who can take ownership of a restoration project from the initial opportunity through completion.

This is not an entry-level position and it is not a technician role.

We are looking for a proven restoration professional who can secure the job, scope the loss, manage the project, direct the field team, write the estimate, communicate with insurance adjusters and TPAs, and drive the file through approval and completion.

If you have spent years in the restoration industry and understand how to successfully manage water, fire, mold, and insurance-related mitigation projects, we want to talk with you.

What You’ll Own

As a Senior Mitigation Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of your projects, including:

Responding to new losses and opportunities
Meeting with homeowners, property managers, agents, adjusters, and referral partners
Securing signed authorizations and converting opportunities into active jobs
Inspecting losses and developing the proper mitigation scope
Creating the project plan and directing technicians and field crews
Monitoring job progress, documentation, drying, equipment, and job quality
Writing accurate and complete estimates in Xactimate
Working with insurance adjusters and carriers to review scopes and obtain approvals
Managing supplements and addressing discrepancies with carriers
Working within TPA guidelines and programs
Maintaining proper documentation and communication throughout the project
Managing customer expectations from start to finish
Keeping projects moving quickly while maintaining strong margins and customer service
Coordinating with internal operations, reconstruction, accounting, and management teams

Requirements

This Role Is Different

We are not looking for someone who simply visits jobs and checks on technicians.

We want a project owner.

You should be comfortable walking into a loss, determining what needs to happen, earning the customer's confidence, getting the paperwork signed, building the scope, directing the production team, writing the estimate, working with the adjuster, and seeing the project through until the file is properly approved and completed.

You will have the authority and resources to manage your projects and will be rewarded for producing strong results.

Compensation & Benefits

We are prepared to offer a strong compensation and benefits package for the right individual.

Our package includes:

Competitive base salary based on experience
Performance-based bonus opportunities
Company vehicle
Gas card / fuel coverage
Medical insurance
Dental insurance
Vision insurance
Life insurance
401(k) with company match
Paid time off
Paid holidays
Company laptop and technology
Paid training and industry certifications
Professional development opportunities
Long-term advancement and career growth

Compensation can be structured based on your experience, industry knowledge, ability to manage production, and proven track record.

For the right candidate, we are open to discussing a package that recognizes the value you bring to the organization.
