INTEGRATION MANAGER (COMMERCIAL)

As we continue to grow and deepen our market presence, we are seeking an exceptional Integration Manager (Commercial) to lead the seamless onboarding and integration of acquired practices, ensuring alignment with our clinical and cultural standards while supporting sustainable growth across the network.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Department Integration Planning & Execution
- Own and execute the commercial integration playbook for each newly acquired clinic, covering sales department alignment and consolidation, marketing integration and brand transition, payer relations continuity and alignment, strategic partnership mapping and transition, and commercial organizational structure alignment.
- Build and maintain detailed 30/60/90-day commercial integration plans for each acquisition with clear milestones for sales team onboarding, sales leadership reporting alignment, marketing/brand consolidation, payer relations establishment, strategic partnership review and integration, and commercial operational metric alignment.
- Coordinate commercial integration workstreams across Sales, Marketing, Payer Relations, Strategic Partnerships, Revenue Cycle, Finance, and Legal to ensure synchronized execution and commercial continuity.
- Track commercial integration progress against plan, proactively escalating commercial organization gaps, sales team integration issues, marketing transition delays, payer relation risks, partnership complications, or commercial operational risks to leadership.
Commercial Diligence Support & Risk Identification
- Support pre-close commercial diligence by gathering and synthesizing target-company commercial function data including sales department structure, staffing, compensation models, and performance; marketing capabilities, brand positioning, and marketing spend; payer relationships and contract terms; strategic partnerships and partnership agreements; organizational structure and reporting relationships; and commercial operational processes.
- Identify commercial integration risks early (e.g., sales team turnover risk, payer contract change-of-control clauses, strategic partnership agreement complications, brand/messaging conflicts, sales compensation/incentive alignment challenges, organizational structure gaps, process standardization needs, tool and system incompatibilities) and flag for leadership and legal review.
- Collaborate with Chief Commercial Officer, Sales, Marketing, Payer Relations, and Finance leadership to translate diligence findings into actionable commercial integration workplans with sequenced integration timelines and risk mitigation strategies.
Sales Department Integration & Organizational Alignment
- Lead sales department integration including assessment of sales team structure, sales leadership reporting alignment with IVI RMA organizational model, and sales compensation plan harmonization across acquired and existing operations.
- Support sales leadership in developing integrated go-to-market strategy for acquired location, including territory alignment, sales role definitions, sales process standardization, and performance expectation alignment.
- Coordinate sales team onboarding and organizational integration including role clarification, CRM/sales tools training, sales process training, compensation plan communication, and performance expectation establishment.
- Support sales leadership in identifying retention risks among key sales staff and developing retention strategies to maintain sales continuity and institutional knowledge during transition.
- Ensure sales organizational structure, reporting relationships, and decision-making authorities are aligned with IVI RMA commercial operating model and governance structure.
Marketing & Brand Integration
- Lead marketing integration of acquired clinic into unified IVI RMA brand identity, messaging platform, and marketing operating model, ensuring consistent brand expression across all patient and partner touchpoints.
- Support Marketing leadership in consolidating acquired clinic marketing functions (digital, social, local advertising, patient communications, events) into IVI RMA marketing infrastructure, platforms, and processes.
- Coordinate transition of acquired clinic marketing assets (website, digital properties, social media presence, marketing materials, local advertising, patient databases) to IVI RMA marketing ecosystem and marketing automation platforms while maintaining marketing effectiveness during transition.
- Support development of unified brand guidelines and messaging platform for market and ensure acquired clinic marketing teams understand and can execute IVI RMA brand standards.
- Coordinate consolidation of marketing budgets, vendors, and marketing tools across acquired and existing operations to achieve marketing efficiency and scale benefits.
- Oversee marketing organizational integration including staffing model alignment, role definition, skills assessment, training needs, and reporting structure alignment with IVI RMA marketing organization.
Payer Relations & Strategic Account Management
- Lead payer relations integration to ensure continuity of critical payer relationships and contracts during acquisition transition, minimizing risk of contract termination or adverse rate modifications.
- Support Payer Relations leadership in conducting payer relationship inventory and assessment including identification of relationship owners, contract terms, managed care opportunities, and relationship health status.
- Coordinate payer communication and change-of-control notifications ensuring timely, clear communication with all major payors regarding acquisition and integration plans.
- Manage payer relationship transition planning including identification of any payer contract change-of-control clauses, rate renegotiation triggers, credentialing requirements, and proactive mitigation strategies.
- Support payer credentialing and enrollment for acquired clinic within IVI RMA network to ensure continued reimbursement and payer network status.
- Ensure payer account management structure and accountability align with IVI RMA payer relations organization and governance.
Strategic Partnership Integration & Management
- Lead strategic partnership assessment and integration including inventory of key partnerships (clinical, technology, distribution, channel), partnership agreement terms, strategic value, and partnership health.
- Support Chief Commercial Officer, executive, and business development leadership in evaluating partnership continuation, consolidation, or transition decisions for each acquired partnership.
- Coordinate partnership relationship communication and continuity management including partnership notification, integration plan communication, and relationship stabilization activities.
- Support renegotiation or consolidation of overlapping or redundant partnerships across acquired and existing operations to realize partnership and cost efficiency benefits.
- Establish strategic partnership governance and decision-making structure aligned with IVI RMA commercial operating model.
Commercial Organizational Structure & Staffing Model Alignment
- Assess acquired commercial department organizational structure including sales, marketing, payer relations, partnerships, and revenue cycle reporting relationships and staffing models.
- Coordinate commercial staffing model alignment including role definitions, span of control, geographic accountability, and staffing level optimization to align with IVI RMA commercial organization model.
- Support HR in commercial staffing transitions including role clarification, compensation alignment, benefits transition, and organizational change management for commercial staff.
- Identify commercial staffing gaps, redundancies, or skill gaps and develop staffing plans to address integration needs.
- Ensure commercial organizational governance, decision-making authority, and escalation pathways are clearly established and aligned with IVI RMA governance model.
Commercial Process & Tool Standardization
- Support assessment and standardization of commercial processes across sales processes, marketing execution, payer relations management, partner management, and commercial performance reporting.
- Coordinate standardization of commercial tools and systems including CRM/sales force automation, marketing automation platforms, payer management systems, and commercial analytics tools to align with IVI RMA technology infrastructure.
- Identify process improvements and best practices from acquired commercial operations and evaluate for potential network-wide adoption.
- Support commercial operations training and process documentation to ensure commercial teams understand IVI RMA standards and procedures.
- Establish commercial performance tracking and reporting infrastructure aligned with IVI RMA commercial metrics and KPIs.
Commercial Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Establish commercial performance baselines for acquired clinic including sales metrics, marketing effectiveness, payer relationship health, strategic partnership value, and commercial operational metrics.
- Develop commercial integration tracking dashboard monitoring progress on organizational alignment, staffing transitions, process standardization, tool migrations, and performance metric convergence.
- Work with Chief Commercial Officer and Finance leadership to track progress toward commercial integration milestones and commercial performance targets post-acquisition.
- Maintain commercial integration status reporting for Commercial leadership, PMO, and executive review including progress on all commercial integration workstreams and commercial performance metrics.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain comprehensive commercial integration status reporting for Chief Commercial Officer, PMO, and executive review, including progress on sales integration, marketing consolidation, payer relations alignment, partnership integration, organizational structure alignment, and commercial performance metrics.
- Document and maintain a running log of commercial integration lessons learned, best practices, process improvements, and playbook refinements to continuously improve commercial integration approach across acquisitions.
- Support the PMO in tracking commercial integration execution against TOM and Transformation Program metrics, including post-integration commercial department performance benchmarking and commercial value realization tracking.
Qualifications
Required
- 4+ years of experience in healthcare commercial operations, business integration, or commercial management in multi-site healthcare or pharmaceutical/medical device environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing commercial department or commercial function integration across multiple commercial disciplines (sales, marketing, payer relations, partnerships).
- Understanding of healthcare commercial operations, payer relationships, sales organization structure, and marketing in healthcare contexts.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent commercial workstreams with competing priorities and complex cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to build integration plans, track performance metrics, and manage complex commercial transitions.
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare commercial operations management or commercial department leadership.
- Background in commercial M&A integration, commercial function consolidation, or commercial organizational restructuring.
- Experience with sales force management, marketing operations, or payer account management in healthcare or related B2B industries.
- Experience in a private equity-backed healthcare or pharmaceutical company with active acquisition pipeline.
- Familiarity with commercial organizational design, commercial governance models, or commercial process standardization.
- Experience with commercial performance measurement, commercial analytics, or commercial metrics dashboarding.
- Project management certification (PMP, CAPM) or equivalent demonstrated experience in complex cross-functional projects.
