REPORTS TO:          Director, Corporate Education and Training
 
JOB OVERVIEW:

The Coordinator provides administrative support and coordination of all activities for the Corporate Education and Training area

of the College’s Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning area.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Prepares and coordinates instructor and vendor agreements.
  2. Prepares client billing, receives payments, and monitors requests for expenditures.
  3. Creates complex technical and financial reports.
  4. Prepares budget requests and provides procurement support, including but not limited to monitoring expenses and payments, submitting requisitions, and ordering books and supplies.
  5. Maintains files on all instructors and consultants.
  6. Creates and updates electronic registration forms, completion certificates, course rosters, instructor evaluations, and similar documents. Ensures that documents and instructions are delivered to instructors as needed.
  7. Creates, sends, and follows up on payments for invoices.
  8. Inputs information into the Extended Education (Destiny/Modern Campus) CRM system.
  9. Processes payroll information for all instructors.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned that are appropriate to the position.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent 
  • Three (3) years’ experience in a departmental support position
  • Ability to work independently on a variety of diverse tasks
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Experience with budgeting procedures

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree
  • Knowledge of the Extended Education (Destiny/Modern Campus) CRM system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

SCHEDULE:        Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm 
      

RETIREMENT:    Pension Eligible
 
 Any Middlesex College employee hired after September 1, 2011 will have to meet the New Jersey residency law requirement.
