JOB OVERVIEW:
The Coordinator provides administrative support and coordination of all activities for the Corporate Education and Training area
of the College’s Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning area.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares and coordinates instructor and vendor agreements.
- Prepares client billing, receives payments, and monitors requests for expenditures.
- Creates complex technical and financial reports.
- Prepares budget requests and provides procurement support, including but not limited to monitoring expenses and payments, submitting requisitions, and ordering books and supplies.
- Maintains files on all instructors and consultants.
- Creates and updates electronic registration forms, completion certificates, course rosters, instructor evaluations, and similar documents. Ensures that documents and instructions are delivered to instructors as needed.
- Creates, sends, and follows up on payments for invoices.
- Inputs information into the Extended Education (Destiny/Modern Campus) CRM system.
- Processes payroll information for all instructors.
- Performs other duties as assigned that are appropriate to the position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years’ experience in a departmental support position
- Ability to work independently on a variety of diverse tasks
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Experience with budgeting procedures
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree
- Knowledge of the Extended Education (Destiny/Modern Campus) CRM system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
RETIREMENT: Pension Eligible
Any Middlesex College employee hired after September 1, 2011 will have to meet the New Jersey residency law requirement.
