Job Purpose
This position leads the marketing function in strategic market analysis; creating marketing strategies; developing and implementing high impact marketing plans to meet corporate objectives.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Execution
- Meet or exceed net sales, volume, and P&L targets
- Lead marketing strategy including planning, development, and implementation of product marketing plan; will include personal and non-personal marketing initiatives and other strategies and tactics for building brand awareness, trial, and usage in a highly competitive market
- Lead the execution of strategic and tactical plans including development and deployment of sales tools, digital (omnichannel) marketing, speaker programs, and conventions
- Lead the development and monitoring of analysis of performance against revenue and expense budgets
- Ensure attainment of assigned components of corporate objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams of business leaders to support, develop, and direct pre-launch and post-launch plans and activities
- Excel in relationship management with external partners and vendors
- Tactical implementation will include partnering with Market Access and Medical Affairs on developing advocacy among healthcare providers and other key decision makers
- Maintain a deep understanding of market, customer, and industry knowledge
- Develop strong relationships with Sales Function to ensure alignment in strategy and execution
- Actively participate in logistical coordination as necessary, including marketing asset print coordination, event management, or other asks that may arise
Marketing Function Leadership
- Actively engage in strategy discussions with executive leadership
- Assist department lead in recruiting, evaluating, and selecting new marketing team members
- Assist department lead in developing team
- Manage budget for designated brand
- Establish and maintain effective communications with cross-functional team members, market access, medical, and sales
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop training programs.
- Develop and implement efficient processes
Policies, Procedures & Compliance
- Stay current and in compliance both individually and as a department. This includes all Corporate Policies as well as mandated government Regulations
- Stay current with and adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook
- Strictly adhere to administrative requirements as directed by President

Education & Professional Background:
- BS/BA degree in marketing, business, or life sciences required; MBA preferred
- Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
- Minimum 7 years specialty pharmaceutical marketing experience, including product launch experience
- Oncology product experience required
- Knowledge of Granulocyte-Colony Stimulating Factor (G-CSF) treatment required
- Extensive digital marketing experience, including marketing automation platform implementation and utilization
- Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop, and implement multi-dimensional commercial strategy and successful marketing plans
- Strong analytical and business acumen; ability to understand financial analysis and its impact on business
- Strong project management to effectively manage competing priorities
- Strong knowledge of the evolving changes within the pharmaceutical industry
- MS Office suite proficiency

Flexibility:
