Well established NJ electrical contractor seeks experienced Electrical Engineer with 3D AUTOCAD/BIM experience.
Candidates with experience in commercial electrical contracting, preferably with pharmaceuticals, hospitals and/or data centers, are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce electrical drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD under the direction of engineers and designers.
- Assist in the development of power, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage system plans.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, mechanical, structural) to ensure accurate and cohesive design documents.
- Maintain and organize Revit models and drafting standards per company and client guidelines.
- Create and manage families and templates in Revit.
- Implement redlines and changes from design team.
- Participate in model coordination meetings and clash detection processes.
- Support QA/QC review of drawings and assist in revisions.
