The Summit YMCA, a branch of The Summit Area YMCA (SAY), is seeking a efficient, energetic team member to help maintain the facilities cleanliness. This position is responsible for providing a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and orderly environment for members, guests, and employees.

What You’ll Do:

• Keep all areas of the facility in top shape — from lobbies and locker rooms to fitness areas and community spaces.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, and replenishing supplies.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning materials in compliance with OSHA and YMCA standards.
• Report and assist with maintenance issues when needed.
• Support special cleaning projects and pitch in where needed to serve our community.
• Model YMCA values by creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all.

Salary & Benefits:

This Full-Time position (40 hours per week) is scheduled Monday - Thursday, 1:00 - 9:30pm and Sunday 8:00am - 4:30pm.

The salary range for this role is $18.00 - $22.00/ hour and is based on experience. • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in housekeeping duties.
• Experience working with the public is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
