This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

11:30 AM - 11:00 PM, 3 shifts per week. Every other weekend required. No holiday requirement for the first 13 weeks; holidays may be required if contract is extended.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The role includes planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, identifying patient needs, and determining priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care based on ongoing assessments.
• Initiate assessments based on patient problems, medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care of patients.
• Document care based on standards of practice and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based care standards and support the adoption of innovations in care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an outpatient Dialysis center.
• Minimum of 1 year of ICH Dialysis experience.
• Knowledge of Fresenius T Machine and portable ROs required.
• BLS certification – AHA.
• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required.
