The main purpose of the Senior Accountant, Level III, is to maintain financial reports, records, and general ledgers; prepare and analyze budgets; and perform general bookkeeping for their assigned MOL organization(s). Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Manage the financial close process, internal reporting, parent reporting, and all tax regulatory filings, including formulating and preparing tax provisions on a quarterly basis.
Identify and implement internal controls and process improvements.
Develop expertise in Sage Intacct and serve as an ongoing super-user.
Manage ADP, Concur, and bank interface processes with Sage Intacct.
Maintain all assigned inter-company and intra-company invoicing and ensure all accounts are reconciled.
Prepare daily cash book reconciliations.
Oversee budget preparation and annual true-up.
Prepare monthly general and administrative expense variance analysis.
Prepare consolidated reports required by MOL for U.S. affiliate companies.
Maintain monthly work papers and schedules in preparation for Auditors & Tax prepares year-end work.
Backup other accounting, treasury, and AP functions as needed.
Coordinate with CPA firm to get the expatriate Federal and State U.S. Tax Returns filed on a timely basis, provide assistance as needed.
Perform and back up other shared service roles.
Engage in special project work as needed.
Work in a small team environment, taking on tasks outside the normal scope of standard tasks, and collaborate effectively and constructively.

Qualifications/Experience Requirements
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
Work Experience: 4-8 years of relevant experience in a professional corporate work environment; plus few years with a CPA firm preferred.
Technical Competencies
Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on analytical abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Sage Intacct, Concur, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Elevated skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with an emphasis on Excel.
