Job Summary
Church & Dwight is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for providing hands-on facilities management leadership for the Princeton and Ewing buildings, ensuring safe, reliable, compliant, and professional workplaces.
About the Role
The Senior Facilities Manager will serve as the primary face of Facilities Management for employees, leadership, landlords, service providers, contractors, and other stakeholders at both locations. Lead day-to-day building operations, maintenance, repairs, workplace services, vendor performance, and facility issue resolution.
Work Environment
Onsite: This is an onsite role based in Ewing, NJ and requires in-person attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Report to VP Global Engineering & EHS.
- Manage the daily operation, maintenance, appearance, safety, security coordination, and service delivery of the Princeton and Ewing buildings.
- Maintain a highly visible, hands-on presence at both facilities and act as the primary point of contact for facility-related questions, concerns, service needs, and improvement opportunities.
- Build strong working relationships with employees, site leadership, landlords, property managers, contractors, vendors, and local authorities.
- Monitor building conditions and proactively address HVAC, plumbing, life-safety, roofing, interiors, grounds, utilities, workplace services, and other infrastructure needs.
- Establish preventive-maintenance plans, service standards, inspection routines, and response expectations; verify completion and quality of work.
- Manage facility service contracts, vendor selection, competitive bids, purchase orders, budgets, invoices, schedules, and contractor performance.
- Develop annual operating and capital plans for both buildings based on condition, compliance, business needs, workplace requirements, lifecycle cost, and risk.
- Lead CapEx project development and execution, including business justification, scope definition, alternatives evaluation, budget estimates, schedules, stakeholder alignment, approvals, procurement, construction oversight, commissioning, and closeout.
- Coordinate development of architectural packages, floor plans, space-planning concepts, renderings, and graphical presentation decks for stakeholder review and decision-making; engage and manage third-party architects, designers, engineers, and visualization resources as needed.
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear project requirements and present recommendations, concepts, costs, risks, schedules, and implementation plans to leadership.
- Plan and oversee office renovations, space changes, furniture installations, building-system upgrades, employee moves, and other workplace improvement projects while minimizing business disruption.
- Coordinate facility compliance activities, inspections, permits, emergency preparedness, environmental requirements, accessibility, and applicable building and fire-code obligations.
- Partner closely with EHS, Security, IT, Human Resources, Procurement, Finance, Corporate Engineering, and business leaders on facility needs and projects.
- Maintain accurate facility documentation, drawings, asset records, warranties, service histories, project files, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Provide timely communication to employees and leadership regarding facility conditions, planned work, service interruptions, project progress, risks, and recommended actions.
- Respond promptly to urgent facility issues and coordinate effective corrective actions, including after-hours support when necessary.
- Travel primarily between the Princeton and Ewing locations, with limited additional travel as business needs require.
- Develop and execute facilities CapEx projects from initial need identification through scope, budget, approvals, design, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
- Coordinate architectural packages, space plans, renderings, and graphical stakeholder decks, using qualified third parties when appropriate.
- Incorporate appropriate sustainability, energy-efficiency, and workplace improvements into facilities planning and project execution.

Education and Experience
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate facilities management, building operations, workplace services, construction, or capital project management.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple office or corporate facilities and serving as the visible, accountable facility leader for employees and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to develop and execute facilities CapEx projects, including scope, justification, budget, schedule, procurement, design coordination, construction oversight, commissioning, and closeout.
- Experience directing third-party architects, designers, engineers, contractors, and visualization resources in preparing architectural packages, floor plans, renderings, and graphical stakeholder presentations.
- Working knowledge of commercial building systems, preventive maintenance, building and fire codes, life-safety requirements, accessibility, workplace planning, and contractor safety.
- Experience managing operating and capital budgets, contracts, bids, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with facility-management systems, project-scheduling tools, and drawing or space-planning platforms preferred.
- Professional credentials such as CFM, FMP, PMP, LEED AP, or equivalent are preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $110,900– $157,900. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
