What You Will Do:
The Marketing Assistant will provide entry-level administrative and production support across the Marketing, Marketing Technology and Events teams. This position will provide flexible day-to-day support for firmwide and practice-specific marketing initiatives, with a focus on scheduling, workflow support, content tracking, file organization, and routine marketing production.
Under the direction of the Manager of Marketing & Digital Media, the Marketing Assistant will update department calendars and trackers, collect and organize materials and approvals, schedule meetings and track project deadlines, send reminders, prepare templated marketing collateral and assist with uploading and scheduling approved website, email, social media, newsletter and multimedia content. The position requires someone who is comfortable following established processes, completing assigned tasks, tracking multiple deadlines, and providing accurate and timely support wherever team capacity is needed most.
Essential Job Requirements:
Scheduling and Workflow Support:
- Update department editorial and production calendars as directed.
- Provide administrative support for quarterly Marquee production, including content collection, submission tracking, routine formatting, and routing materials for review.
- Enter and update information in firm awards, directory submission, and media trackers.
- Maintain attorney headshot database and stock image libraries.
- Track assigned deadlines and outstanding materials, send routine reminders as directed, and flag missing information for the appropriate team member.
- Proofread materials for typographical errors, formatting issues and missing information, and organize and archive approved content and final files.
Creative and Administrative Support:
- Support the creation of templated advertisements and routine digital graphics using approved brand standards and direction.
- Assist with formatting firm and practice group marketing collateral and preparing approved files for distribution.
- Organize materials for creative requests.
- Provide routine administrative and production support during high-volume periods, vacations, and absences, as assigned.
Routine Digital Content Support:
- Assist with posting and updating approved website content, including routine formatting, link checks and post-publication reviews as assigned.
- Support the formatting, testing and scheduling of approved emails and newsletters in marketing automation and email platform, including incorporating approved corrections.
- Assist with drafting social media content using approved source materials and direction, scheduling approved posts and maintaining content in social media and intelligence platform.
- Provide production support for newsletters and multimedia projects as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or a related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant marketing or communications experience; professional services experience is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, respond to changing priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
- Experience with social media, email marketing, website content management and basic graphic production.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Sprout Social, Umbraco, Vuture, Smartsheet or similar platforms is preferred.
- Ability to work independently within established procedures and collaborate effectively with attorneys, business services professionals and other stakeholders.
- Reliability, attendance, and punctuality, with the flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
Office Location: Roseland, NJ or New York, NY (Hybrid)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, Overtime as needed.

- NY: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Amount of Travel Required: None
The expected salary range for candidates meeting the requirements of this position is $55,000 to $65,000 (NJ) or $60,000 to $70,000 (NY). The range provided is the salary that Lowenstein Sandler in good faith believes at the time of this posting that it is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined based on individual candidate qualifications and location. Our benefits package includes coverage options for medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, life insurance, disability, FSAs, 401K, and paid time off.
